Day 1: Reception at Fez airport and transfer to hotel
We will visit the new part of the city, The dinner and the accommodation will be in a charming riad. Day 2: Fez – Fez
After a delicious breakfast ,we will have a full day with guided tour in Fez, artisan and religious capital of Morocco. Fez was founded by Idris 1st in the twelfth century and was for years, cultural capital and center of interest of the Almohads. It is one of the imperial cities with more tourist interest for its history and craftsmanship and one of the largest medinas in the Arab world; Madrasas, the souk (spectacular for the amount and variety of spices), Karauin, the oldest university in the world, mosques, squares, the Andalusian neighborhood and that of potters, palaces and museums. Fes is the handmade capital of Morocco. The dinner and the accommodation in the riad. Day 3: Fez – Merzouga
After having the breakfast our and departure will be to the mountains of the Middle Atlas. We will stop in the charming city of Ifrane, also called the Swiss of Morocco, vestige of the times of the French protectorate. We will cross the large cedar forests, where nomadic pastoralist communities live. Going south, we will leave the High Atlas Mountains behind,and we will arrive at Errachidia, where the first large palm groves of the trip appear. These greenery oases create an ideal microclimate for the cultivation of all types of fruit trees and vegetables. Continuing route, we will arrive to Erfoud, economic capital of the Tafilalet region. In this area, fossils abound that testify to a past covered by the sea. From here the asphalt disappears, through Saharan tracks we will reach the adobe town of Merzouga. The dinner and the overnight will be in the hotel. Day 4: Merzouga – Merzouga
It will be a full day to explore the oases that stretch around the Erg Chebbi. We will visit the town of Kamelia, the deserted city of M’tis, discovering small villages and houses inhabited in unexpected places, far from any civilization. We will also visit nomads who are there and take tea with them, in the afternoon leave the 4 × 4 and ride a dromedary to spend the night in the middle of the desert under the starry sky. The Dinner and the accommodation will be in a khaima nomad Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley -Ouarzazate
Qfter the breakfast and the deparature, we will pass through the town of Risani, former Sijilmassa, supply center for the old caravans coming from the Sahara. We will continue to travel through a semi-desert landscape, we will arrive at the oasis of Tinghir, possibly one of the most beautiful places in Morocco. we will go up the Todra River, we will reach its impressive gorges of more than 300m high. After a brief visit to the town, we will take the route of the thousand kasbahs, to reach Ouarzazate one of the most important cities in the Moroccan south, and known for its intense cinematographic activity, counting with films such as Gladiator, Troy, The Mummy etc. Finally, we will visit the Kasbah of Taurirt. The dinner and the overnight will be in the hotel. Day 6: Ouarzazate-Ait Ben Haddou-Telouet-Marrakech
After breakfast, we will take the route in the direction of Ait Ben Haddou, the queen of the Kasbahs, declared a World Heritage Site. Subsequently by one of the most beautiful tracks in Morocco we will arrive at the Kasbah of Telouet, former palace of the Glagui, Pacha de Marrakech. Continuing along a winding road, we will pass through the highest mountain port of Morocco Tzin Tichca (2,260 m) until we reach the imperial city of Marrakech, capital of the Great South. The accommodation will be in a Riad. Day 7: Marrakech – Marrakech
After the delicious breakfast , we will have a full interesting day with guided tour in Marrakech, they will tell the stories that was inhabited by a tribe on the other side of the Atlas, with large supplies of dates, and bones, a great palm grove was born. Called “the red city”, because of the color of its walls and full of gardens, irrigated by underground wells (khettaras), which were built by the Almoravids and Saharan nomads in the eleventh century. It is in the twelfth century, which reaches its maximum architectural and cultural splendor. The Menara, the Kasba, the Saadies Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutobia, the Majorelle Gardens and the souks, are some of the unavoidable visits. A unique experience, stroll through the “Djemaa El Fna” square, where all the life and activity of the city is concentrated: dancers, storytellers, jugglers, artisans, merchants and snake charmers. We will have free time until the agreed time to make the transfer to the airport according to the time of the flight and end of our great services.
